Congratulations!

Congratulations to senior Molly Frei! She recently earned the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest achievement in Girl Scouting. For her Gold Award project, Frei constructed three activity packs called “Tinker Boxes” for second through fourth grade students. The boxes contained lesson plans and materials like paperclips and beads for hands-on engineering exercises. She also led a week-long STEM camp in her backyard, focusing on using science and math to problem-solve. Molly donated her Tinker Boxes to the Lower School so they are able to use her lesson plans for future STEM programs. The Girl Scout Gold Award represents the culmination of more than 80 hours of work on a project that is important to each girl. Way to go, Molly!
